God asked us as believers to give willingly, not begrudgingly as the Lord loves a cheerful giver!! (2 Corinthians 9:7)
The tithe was evidently God's will, for Abraham paid tithe 430 years before the Law was given (Gen 14:20) Then Jacob promised God the tithe 250 years fefore the Law was given (Gen 28:22)
To be Abraham's seed we must have faith like him, or the same kind of faith. Faith that believes God and acts accordingly, else it would not be faith.

Will a Man Rob God? Malachi 3:8
It is still true today centuries later that we can trust God with the tithe we bring to the storehouse. Trust in the Lord is paramount to having the faith that when we demonstrate our trust by bringing the tithe to the storehouse that God will in turn bless us.
Some believe that the blessing will come in monetary form. But Blessings come in many, many forms such as money, health, family peace, reconciliation, and on and on. TRUST.....

We need to trust that God is God and that he can be trusted to fulfill his word when he says bring the Tithe into the storehouse and He will pour out blessings we cannot contain.
