Encoragement In A Discouraging World
The Apostle Paul said in 1 Thessalonians Chapter 4 verse 18 "Therefore comfort one another with these words". He realized that in this world there would be discouragement, and that we would need to be comforted and encouraged. Jesus said himself that "In this world there will be troubles, but take courage for I have overcome the world". When we realize that Jesus is the source of all our comfort and encouragement, we can understand that he truly is the one who "will not leave us comfortless", and that he truly "comes to us". But we also know that God sometimes uses people to do the encouraging. How has Jesus used you to be an encouragement to someone else? And how has God used someone else to be an encouragement to you?

I am always looking for ways to encourage others and I try and let them see the love of God in me any way I can. The Apostle Paul said in 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 comfort one another with these words. And that's what I try to do hoping in Christ Jesus that he gets the glory.
