Molehills Out of Mountains

main image

Jesus told his disciples to look at the mountain, and then told them if they had as little faith as the grain of a mustard seed, they could tell the mountain to be removed and it would be cast into the sea.

We know that spiritually speaking we see mountains in our live that seem to insurmountable to climb let alone be removed. But faith is not based upon our ability, but rather who we have faith in. The Bible tells us that what is impossible with man is not impossible with God. In fact it goes on to say that With God all things are possible. We must remember that placing our faith in God activates the power that God has in our lives and he then by our faith in him removes the mountain that seemed so incredible and removes it into the sea out of our way!!!

Are there mountains in your life that seem too big? We'd love to here from you to help you and encourage you in the faith> Write us a note and we'll respond in love God bless!!!

Mother's Day!!!

main image
John 19:26-27 "26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! 27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home."

In the waining hours at the cross, Jesus remained faithful to his calling. But, he never relieved himself of his Human responsibilities. He stayed true to his heritage, by appointing the disciple whom he loved (John) as executor of his will. His will was to have the Mother who took care of him, to be taken care of in his absence. He also made it clear to her that she should make her place under the watchful eye of this disciple. He not only fulfilled Jewish law and custom, but in every area completed it down to signing every "I" and crossing every "T". His human heart cared very dearly about Mary his mother and up to his last breath he provided for her.

So, remember this when you think of your own mother today on Mother's Day!!!
